Journey to the White Lions

September 8 – 15, 2024  – Timbavati, South Africa

The journey takes us to the kingdom of the rare and mythological white lions, the front line of a pioneering conservational project. Linda Tucker, designated keeper of the white lions, invites us to the heartland – not open to the public otherwise – to demonstrate a new model of conservation based on both sacred indigenous African knowledge, knowledge of the stars and modern science.

Maurice has introduced many groups to the white lions and has worked tightly with Linda Tucker in the past 15 years. Seeing the astounding results of tireless work and wisdom in action, on the ground, motivates us all to keep showing up and be part of a better future.

Joining this journey is a gesture of service, a commitment to the higher goal of supporting a new paradigm of conservation where nature and wildlife come first. We shift from the model of turning the white lions into a “tourist attraction,” to following to the needs of nature, the lions, and the project prerogatives.

We are glad you are considering being part of this special experience!
